About

I am Dr. Chris Long, DBA, I build decision systems and simple AI workflows that help leaders move from ambiguity to clear choices and executable plans. My work sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, process redesign, and automation, I focus on tools that are practical to run, hard to misuse, and easy to repeat with a team.

I am an analyst in the federal government, and I have over 20 years of professional experience working in environments where constraints are real, accountability matters, and decisions create second order effects. My background spans government, military service, and the private sector, including real estate and operations, where performance is measured in outcomes, not intentions.

I hold a Doctorate in Business Administration focused on strategy and innovation, and an M.S. in Management and Leadership. I use research and evidence based methods to design frameworks, trackers, and operating workflows that improve decision quality, execution, and transparency.

How I work

  • I clarify the decision, the constraints, and what success means

  • I make assumptions visible, then stress test them

  • I convert the result into a reusable workflow, template, or automation pattern
